Equal Justice Works – Fellowships and Career Development

Since 1992, Equal Justice Works has provided paid public interest fellowships to law school graduates to provide legal assistance to underserved populations and causes. Today, we are the nation’s largest provider of public interest fellowships, awarding approximately 130-140 fellowships each year. Our Fellows work on a range of issues, including domestic violence, homelessness, community economic development, immigration, civil rights, juvenile justice, employment rights, access to health care, consumer fraud and environmental justice. Hundreds of young lawyers have been able to provide critical legal assistance to underserved communities and have gone on to become leaders in the public interest arena. As an Equal Justice Works Fellow, you will become a member of the nation’s vibrant and prestigious public interest legal community.
