MC Law Benevolence Assistance
Mississippi College School of Law has a Benevolence Fund to assist MC Law students who are experiencing a sudden financial loss, need, hardship or challenge from an emergency. The Benevolence Fund is established to provide students with a one-time payment to assist with necessities of food, utilities, rent, transportation, books, health and medical expenses, and other short-term needs.
We are proud to announce that AccessLex Institute has contributed to the MC Law Benevolence Fund as part of their “Law Student Emergency Relief Program”. These funds are to help MC Law provide resources to law students in need of emergency funds during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Any current MC Law student may request assistance from the Benevolence Fund by clicking on the link below and completing an application for assistance. Applicants must provide ample information regarding the need and in some instances supporting documentation may be required. Applications will be evaluated by the Benevolence Committee.
