The Oil & Gas Law Society’s goals are to educate its members on topics related to the Oil & Gas Law field, give members the tools to help with success in practice, and to form meaningful connections with active members in the Oil & Gas Law field. The Society boasts a plethora of speakers and events for its members. It is through these speakers and events that we hope to educate students about the Oil & Gas Law field and help them build connections. The expectations of the group are that you are an active member upon joining and that during the events or when we host a speaker you carry yourself as a representative of both Mississippi College School of Law and the Oil & Gas Law Society. The benefits of joining include building connections, hearing from a variety of speakers, events, field trips, and attending the State Oil & Gas Board meetings periodically. The members of the Oil & Gas Law Society hope that you will consider joining.
