Research, Instructional Services, & Circulation Librarian
Cymber (pronounced "Kimber") Hubbard joined the MC Law faculty in 2019 as the Research, Instructional Services, & Circulation Librarian. Cymber relocated frequently as a child in a military family, but calls Muscle Shoals, Alabama her hometown. She graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi University for Women (The W) in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology. Shortly thereafter, she decided to go to law school and chose to attend Mississippi College. During her time as a student at MC, Cymber worked as a Research Fellow in the Law Library and as an assistant in the Child Advocacy Center. Cymber also performed several adoptions from beginning to end in the Adoption Clinic, and served as an extern at Hinds County Chancery Court as well as the Rankin County Youth Court. She also served as a member of the Family Law Society. Cymber graduated cum laude from MC Law in 2019 and jumped at the chance to stay in the MC Law family. She currently teaches Legal Research I & II and manages both the Judicial Data Project and the Legislative History Project.
