Professor Wendy Scott Joins Multiple Sclerosis Association of America Board of Directors
Professor Wendy Scott has joined the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) Board of Directors. A national non-profit organization founded in 1970, MSAA is a leading resource for the entire MS community “dedicated to improving lives today through ongoing support and direct services to individuals with MS, their families and their care partners.” Nominated by long time MSAA board member and past chair James (“Jim”) Anderson (’78), Scott attended her first meeting in April 2017. Jim Anderson, a distinguished graduate of MC Law, worked with Scott during her tenure as dean and learned that she has a close relative who suffers with multiple sclerosis. Scott has a special affinity for the work of MSAA and hopes to advance the cause of the organization during her 3 year term.
