Meta Copeland

 

Director of Experiential Learning

 

Professor Copeland is the Director of Experiential Learning and Director of the Public Service Law Center. She teaches all local and remote externships courses in the fall, spring and summer semesters. Professor Copeland is primarily responsible for implementing and teaching legal externship courses. She supervises students assigned to judges and attorneys in government agencies and non-profit organizations, and she also oversees the creation and operation of public interest clinical courses at the law school.  Professor Copeland is also the Director of the MC Law Public Service Law Center and a faculty coach for external moot court competition teams in the areas of pre-trial federal litigation, federal appellate procedure, and workers’ compensation.
