1. APPLY TO GRADUATE

The degree application begins the process of awarding your degree.   You must file a degree application before the degree application deadline.  Log in to MyMC.

  • Click "Apply to Graduate" under Graduation in the right-hand column.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen.

There is only one official graduation date each semester, no matter when the commencement exercise is held.  University policy has set the date which coincides with the undergraduate commencement as the official date.  You will not see the May Law School graduation date listed as an option.  Select the date listed for May, August, or December based on when you will complete your degree requirements.

If you have previously submitted an online application for your degree and you need to change your graduation date or other information, you will be unable to do this online. Please contact the Registrar's Office.

If you are seeking dual degrees (such as JD/MBA) or if you have more than one curricula (such as a double major) you must submit a separate application for each degree/curriculum.

2. BAR EXAM INTERVIEW

In the semester immediately preceding the student's final semester of law school, students are required to complete the "Bar Exam Interview" via google form. You will receive an email with a link to complete this form in the semester immediately preceding your final semester. You will not be able to pick up your regalia until you have completed this form. Please contact Dean Purvis (mlpurvis@mc.edu) if you have any questions.

3. COMPLETE EXIT INTERVIEWS

Complete your exit interviews prior to the end of your final term.  You will not be able to pick up your regalia until you have completed these interviews.

4. CLEAR ACCOUNTS

Clear all accounts, including library fees/fines, after your last exam.  Return your clicker to the Library.  You will not be able to pick up your regalia unless your accounts are clear.
