Veteran's Day 2007

In observance of Veterans Day 2007, Mississippi College’s Military Justice Society attended an antique car show at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.  The event was attended by several members of the Society, along with about thirty antique car owners, and of course about fifty Veterans.  The Veterans that attended served in conflicts spanning through World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, and where quite happy to share their stories.  The day was supposed to be about antique cars, but soon turned into the cars just being an ice breaker and the Vets telling stories of glory and sacrifice.  Eagerly, the members of the Society listened and learned firsthand how the freedoms we enjoy today were defended by heroes of yesteryear.
