Students with financial need may apply for federal or private loans or for college work study.
Cost of Attendance Budget
The amount of financial aid a student may receive from all sources, including scholarships and loans, is capped by MC Law's Cost of Attendance (COA). The COA is a budget that includes tuition and fees, books and supplies, room, board, transportation, and miscellaneous/personal expenses. Budgets for first year students entering 2013-2014 year are as follows:

This budget is intended as a guideline and not as a substitute for your own assessment of how much money you will need to attend law school. However, the total amount of financial aid you receive may not exceed the school's COA. Unless you have a serious, documented emergency expense, the Financial Aid Office cannot increase the standard cost of attendance for you. Federal regulations prohibit the Financial Aid Office from providing loan funds to students for covering expenses related to owning a car, moving, credit card debt, bar review courses, bar exam fees, and job interview costs. Therefore, allowances for these expenses are not included in the Cost of Attendance Budget.
