Parks and Paige Selected by CALI

Law Librarian Stephen Parks '10 and Adjunct Legal Research Instructor Tiffany Paige '06 have been chosen by the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) to be the creators of the first and only lesson on Mississippi Legal Research-Primary Sources.  CALI, a nonprofit consortium consisting of law schools, law firms, and paralegal programs, compiles and presents computer assisted legal instruction on many topics ranging from first year law school classes to upper level courses such as Partnership and Corporate Taxation.  Parks and Paige's lesson will focus on the various sources that may be used for case law, statutory law, and municipal law in the State of Mississippi.  The lesson will be the first to focus specifically on Mississippi and will be available for access by all participating members of CALI.  In addition to instructing Legal Research, Parks is the Research, Instructional Services, and Circulation Librarian at MC Law.  Paige is the Informational Services Librarian for the Supreme Court of Mississippi.
