MC Law Advances to Quarterfinal Round of National Moot Court Competition

 

 

MC Law competed in the National Moot Court Competition, hosted by the University of Memphis School of Law, on November 11-13. Sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and the New York City Bar, the regional competition featured law schools from Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana.

 

MC Law was represented by third-year students Matt McCluer, Sue Ann Bernard and Robert Quimby. The team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the competition, with Bernard winning the award for Best Overall Oralist.

 

The team was coached by Professors Deborah Challener, Cynthia Nicoletti and Matt Steffey.
