MC Law Receives Invitation to the 2011 Moot Court National Championship
Mississippi College School of Law is one of sixteen law schools to receive an invitation to compete at the “Moot Court Competition to determine the ‘best of the best’ Moot Court Programs”—the 2011 Moot Court National Championship. The competition is hosted by the University of Houston Law Center, home of the Blakely Law Institute, which announces the annual advocacy rankings.
“An invitation to this prestigious competition is a real milestone for our moot court program and will further enhance the national reputation of our law school,” says Vicki Lowery, Director of Advocacy.
The Moot Court National Championship is an invitation only competition that is limited to the top sixteen schools across the nation. This rank is based on points awarded for competition victories, best speaker awards, and best brief awards won in national or international level competitions from the previous year.
