Professor Angela Mae Kupenda presented at the 42 Annual Meeting of the Northeastern Political Science Association, held in Boston, Massachusetts, November 11-13, 2010. Kupenda served as the Discussant for a the Section on Congress, the Presidency and the Courts. For the panel Constitutional Conflicts, Kupenda read, reviewed, and discussed 5 constitutional law papers authored by political scientists, other university professors, and graduate students. The specific papers addressed conflicts with various constitutional law issues including: framers' intent and the separation of church and state, capital punishment policies, the role of solo dissents, consensus building and the separation of church and state, and feminism versus federalism in U.S. v. Morrison.
