MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE SCHOOL OF LAW HOSTS VISIT BY INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAWYER EUGENE THEROUX

Renowned international trade lawyer Eugene Theroux spoke at Mississippi College School of Law on April 3, 2007, as part of the law school's International Speaker Series.  Theroux, who is Of Counsel with the law firm of Baker & McKenzie, discussed how globalization is changing the modern practice of law.

Theroux discussed the expanding opportunities for new law graduates in international practice, and also advised students to incorporate their outside interests into their legal practice as means to make their careers more fulfilling and rewarding.  He discussed some of his experiences from practice by way of example, including his work in establishing the first western law offices in both the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union.
