Sen. Biden speaks to law students at crawfish boil
Jackson, MS – U.S. Senator Joseph Biden Jr., D-Del., a 2008 Democratic Party presidential candidate, spoke to law students at a crawfish boil sponsored by Mississippi College School of Law on Saturday, April 22, 2006. He spoke about the importance of unifying the country, addressed student loan repayment issues, and immigration problems.
"It was great that he took time out of his schedule to talk to us," said Jennie Pitts '07. "He was so personable and pleasant and seemed to really engage with everyone. He realizes that our nation's young people have a strong and influential voice, and he encouraged us all to vote no matter who we voted for."
