Mississippi College School of Law is pleased to offer its first spring break study abroad program in Havana, Cuba. Students will take a one-credit course in comparative constitutional law while spending a full week exploring the wonders of Havana. The course will be co-taught by Professor John Anderson and Judge Louise Guirola, Chief Justice for the Southern District of Mississippi.
Who Can Participate
The program is open to full-time or part-time law students at ABA-accredited law schools. Participating students must currently be in good standing and have attended law school for at least one year. Anticipated enrollment is between 10-20 students.
Students from law schools other than Mississippi College are advised to consult with their home school’s Dean or Registrar prior to application to ensure acceptance of credit for the program. Transcript request information will be provided to visiting students upon completion of the program. Visiting students are responsible for submitting their own transcript requests following the program. Acceptance of any credit or grade for any course taken in the program is subject to determination by the home institution.
