Once annually, MC Law presents a $5,000 loan assistance award to an alumnus pursuing a career in public interest law or with a non-profit organization.  The LRAP assists those alumni who demonstrate a long-term commitment to serving poor or underserved populations through either direct legal services or policy related work.  Requirements to be considered for the LRAP include the following: 

Graduated from MC School of Law in 2004 or later
Licensed to practice law
Currently working, at least 75% of full time, in a public interest or public service law job (judicial clerks will be considered for an award)
Must have outstanding educational loans (from any degree, not just J.D.)
All loans must be current or in good standing
Cannot earn more than $60,000 per year
