Professor Alina Ng and Professor Angela Mae Kupenda made presentations at the 67th Annual National Conference of the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) in Chicago, April 2-5, 2009.

Professor Ng presented on the Theory, Philosophy and Law panel. Her presentation was entitled, Authorial Rights in the Copyright System. Recently, she had a related work published, see Alina Ng, The Social Contract and Authorship: Allocating Entitlements in the Copyright System, 19 Fordham Intell. Prop., Media & Ent. L.J. 413 (2009).

Professor Kupenda served as a discussant and acting chair for the Law and Jurisprudence panel, titled The "Haves" and "Have Nots" in our Legal System. Professor Kupenda's participation was part of the MPSA's effort seeking an interdisciplinary inclusion of international scholars and non-political scientists.
