Procedures for completing Random Course Selection forms:
- Complete a random course for each semester (May Intersession, Summer 2013, & Fall 2013)
- List course preferences on the form with your highest preference listed first.
- It is only necessary to list courses indicated in the above list. Courses not listed above do not need to be included in the random course selection.
We will assign seats in each course by random selection to rising third year students who have expressed first preference for that course. If seats remain, there will be a random selection among rising third year students who have expressed second preference, and so on. We will fill any remaining seats from rising second-year students according to the same procedure. If you do not receive your first choice, your chance of receiving your second choice significantly improves, although we do not guarantee that you will receive your second choice. No student will receive more than one seminar course.
Please note consideration of second or third year status will not be used in the Random Course Selection Process for the following courses:
- Evidence Y – Justice Dickinson
- Juvenile Legal Issues Seminar
- Law and Religion Seminar
- Race and the Law
- Cyberlaw Seminar
- Electronic Research Seminar
We will not accept any changes to a preference form once you submit it.
We will not accept late forms.
NO PREFERENCE IS GIVEN BASED ON WHEN FORMS ARE RECEIVED.
FORMS RECEIVED AFTER Midnight Thursday, April 4th WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
