Professor Wendy Scott to Speak at Workshop for Judges of the Sixth Circuit
Judge Bernice B. Donald of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has invited Professor Wendy Scott to speak on May 10th at the Workshop for Judges of the Sixth Circuit. Scott will serve on the closing plenary panel, “The Legacy of Justice Thurgood Marshall,” along with the Honorable Algenon Marbley and the Honorable Nathaniel R. Jones. The panel will be moderated by Melissa Murray, Interim Dean of Berkeley School of Law and also feature Professor Wendy Greene, Cumberland Law School, and Kevin T. Baines, former clerk to Justice Marshall and attorney at Williams & Connolly. Professor Scott is completing a book on the dissenting opinions of Justice Marshall with co-author Linda Greene, a professor at University of Wisconsin Law School. The Federal Judicial Center will sponsor the Workshop in Cleveland, Ohio.
