MC Law to Host 6th Annual Mary Libby Payne Lecture on Christianity and the Law
MC Law is set to host the sixth annual Mary Libby Payne Lecture on Christianity and the Law on September 22 in the student auditorium of the law school's downtown campus.
Attorney Robert Showers will serve as the keynote speaker, and address the topic of, "Navigating a Business Run or Owned by Christians in a Changing Hostile Culture." Showers, who co-founded Simms Showers LLP in 2002, previously served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General.

The Mary Libby Payne Lectureship, established in 2012, has raised $103,000 to endow the Lectureship.
