MC Law Bioethics and Health Law Center to Host Symposium on “Telehealth in Mississippi and Beyond"
The MC Law Bioethics and Health Law Center is set to host its symposium, “Telehealth in Mississippi and Beyond,” on April 10, 2017, at the law school in downtown Jackson. The symposium will feature local, regional, and national panelists speaking on the subject of telemedicine.
The symposium will begin with the first panel, “The Rise of Telehealth and How Mississippi Became a Leader,” which will provide background on telehealth and how Mississippi came to be a forerunner in the field; and the second panel, “Pressing Medical, Legal, and Ethical Issues in Telehealth,” will explore the multi-faceted issues raised by telehealth, both within Mississippi and beyond the state.
The symposium will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the MC Law Student Center. It is free and open to the public. Three hours of CLE credit are available, including 1.5 hours of Ethics. To register for CLE credit or to learn more, click here.
