ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Jonathan P. Terrell ('15) Selected to Serve as Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Winston Kidd ('91)
MC Law alum Jonathan P. Terrell ('15) was recently selected to serve as judicial law clerk for Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Winston Kidd ('91).
Jonathan graduated from MC Law in May 2015. Following graduation, he worked as a Compliance Examiner with Raymond James Financial Services in St. Petersburg, Fla. He has been sworn into the Tennessee Bar and sworn into the Mississippi Bar. Jonathan recently accepted a judicial clerkship with Judge Kidd.
Along with Judge Kidd's service on the bench, he has also served as an MC Law adjunct professor. Over his career, he has mentored numerous students and graduates.
Over the years, Judge Kidd has hired a number of MC Law students as judicial law clerks; recent hires include Lenderrick Taylor ('14) who is now a government attorney and Ahmad Smith ('13), who later clerked for Federal Judge Carlton Reeves and is now practicing with a large firm.
In addition, Judge Kidd has welcomed a number of our students as interns, including recent grad Bethany Bridges ('17), who is now a government attorney, Ke Yuan ('08), who is licensed in NY and practicing with a firm based in China, and Jou-Chi Ho who went on to clerk with a state court judge out west and is now helping run his family's business in Taiwan.
