3L Gursimran Bola Admitted as LL.M. Scholar to Boston University School of Law LL.M. Tax Program
MC Law 3L Gursimran Bola was recently admitted to the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University School of Law, for beginning in Fall 2017. Boston University's Graduate LLM Tax Program was established in 1959 as one of the nation’s first graduate tax programs, and stands as one of the best. As one of the oldest and most influential schools in the U.S., BU Law is well connected with alumni and employers around the world. This aspect especially attracted Gursimran to apply to BU Law.
In recognition of his outstanding academic achievement, Boston University’s LLM Scholar Committee has designated Gursimran a Boston University School of Law LLM Scholar. As an LLM Scholar, he will receive a scholarship for the upcoming academic year, reflecting Boston University’s utmost confidence that he will thrive at the school and make meaningful contributions to the community, both inside and outside the classroom.
Gursimran attended college at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, with a major in Political Science. Born in India and immigrating to the United States at the age of 7, Gursimran and his family currently call Shreveport, Louisiana home.
During his legal education he has been an active and successful participant on the Moot Court Board, has been honored on the Dean's List for his academic success, and has received the Best Paper Award in both Business and Constitutional Law courses.
